Christina Forrer, born in 1978 in Zurich, is a contemporary artist known for her vivid and chaotic visual storytelling through tapestries, paintings, and works on paper. Her practice delves into the tensions and dynamics between people, animals, and the natural world, often evoking narratives that are both whimsical and unsettling. Using bold, eclectic color palettes, blending handmade textures with absurd, Forrer uses surreal figuration to explore the raw nature of human interaction.
