This collection of Jean-Baptiste Pillement prints date back to the 18th c. and feature his illustrations of romantic, otherworldly florals. Pillement was a designer, illustrator, interior decorator, and printmaker known for his Rococo and chinoiserie style. He was a court painter to Marie Antoinette at Versailles, and interior decorator for the King of Poland. Jean-Baptiste Pillement’s designs were often used on wallpaper, textiles, porcelain and silver.
