The Malaika Ottomania dinner plate is decorated in a floral motif, colored in green and blue and made by artisans in Fayoum. This style of pottery comes from Tunis, a little village perched on top of Lake Qarun in the Oasis of Fayoum. Using an art form that dates back to the Ancient Egyptians, the potters create beautiful objects with drawings inspired by their surroundings such as plants, animals and landscapes. As each plate is made by hand, please allow for slight imperfections.
