Casablanca-born Simon Edery began working with light while pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts degree at the San Francisco Art Institute. After experimenting with stained glass, cement, and various metals, Edery began exploring the use of copper tubing, embedding light sources to create functional sculptures. Inspired by The Memphis Group, his works mix bright primary colors and patterns and have a visual language that expresses charm and humor. They are one-of-a-kind, signed by the artist, and brighten up a room with ambiance, joy, beauty, and heart.
