Made in the pueblo of Santa María Atzompa in Oaxaca, this fish vessel was carved by hand in red clay. Following in the Oaxacan tradtion that dates back thousands of years, it is pit-fired, showing the natural markings created during the firing process - making it truly individual. This type of pottery is porous, and it will sweat if holding water for a long period of time.
