These ceramic plates were designed by Mexican artist Daniel Valero of Mestiz and were made by artisans in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Inspired by the mix of industrial and craft techniques, Mestiz focuses on developing stimulating pieces with a theoretical background by combining traditional craftsmanship and local talent to create contemporary lifestyle products. Kneeland Co. Rarities is proud to be the exclusive US stockist of Mestiz. Each piece is thoughtfully made by hand, allowing for slight variations that add to the uniqueness of the collection. This lilac shade was commissioned by Kneeland Co. Rarities, inspired by the plumbago flowers found the in the garden of the Mestiz studio in San Miguel.
