Inspired by days spent in the palm groves of Egypt, the Malaika Date Hexagon Platter is crafted by potters in the Egyptian village of Fayoum. It can be used for serving or as a decorative ceramic. Please allow for slight imperfections as these pieces are crafted by hand.
Fayoum pottery comes from Tunis, a little village perched on top of Lake Qarun in the Oasis of Fayoum. Using an art form that dates back to the Ancient Egyptians, the potters create beautiful objects with drawings inspired by their surroundings such as plants, animals and landscapes.
