A shared love of the sea was the beginning of a friendship and collaboration between Daniella Manini and Kneeland Co., resulting in a series of 12 original prints with the shell serving as the ultimate muse. The series came to life after Daniella traveled to her home of Peru to soak up the rich culture and vibrancy along the coast. A myriad of vividly saturated shells are featured in the series, decorated in hand-painted details and mixed with lively suns and marine life that have a playful hint of Surrealism. Inspiration was drawn from mutual interests including the atmosphere of 1970s Jamaica and the casual ease of beachside cevicherias - the latter of which helped capture the essence of their Peruvian and Mexican heritages. This is the second series of Amoramar.
