The decorative scenes are by French painter Jean Bertholle, a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, whose illustrations bring the woodland setting to life with richly colored depictions of game and forest animals, surrounded by delicate foliage. Each plate was individually hand-painted and carries the artist's “JB” signature.

Set of 6

Measurements: 10.25"

Kneeland Co.
