Founded in 2004, Malaika is focused on training and employing underprivileged Egyptian women and refugees at their self-funded embroidery school, as well as and working with skilled artisans to create textiles, ceramics, and objects using the finest materials. These placemats are adorned with a hand embroidered bee motif in multiple colors throughout. Crafted from linen and cotton thread, they should be washed on a delicate cycle in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
