Jean Cocteau & The Illustrated Book
From the estate of William Dailey is the first narrative account of Cocteau and the illustrated book, written by William Emboden, the author of The Visual Art of Cocteau (1989). Based on the collection at the Severin Wunderman Museum and Emboden’s own collection, this book describes every book with illustrations by Cocteau and included some unpublished material. Limited to 226 copies, printed on mold-made arches by the fine letterpress printer Patrick Reagh, Folio with tipped-in color plates and illustrations in the text.
