Huichol Beaded Snake


Made by the Huichol community in northern Mexico, this decorative snake was made by hand using tiny beads. This folk art dates back centuries and symbolizes the spiritual practice of communicating with the gods. In the Huichol community, the snake is said to represent the Rain Goddess.
