Charolas de Olinalá No. 3


This contemporary wooden platter is made from lacquer in Guerrero, Mexico. Linseed oil is mixed with mineral powders to make the lacquer, and a sharp thorn from an agave plant is inserted into a feather to create the decorations of animals. Can be used for serving or as a decorative object.
